The summer vacation time is fast approaching. Vacations are good things: they help us get back to feeling our best, make us more creative and productive and, for a number of reasons, make us healthier. The problem is that all too many people look at vacations as luxuries rather than necessities. I just came off my first real vacation in nearly a decade. I joined some close relatives for a week in the panhandle of Florida and did nothing except hang out on the beach, ride the waves, nap and go out to dinner--I did absolutely no work! As a result, I feel better than I have in a long, long time and my stress level is way down. In addition, my output is far greater than what it would have been without this break. So I recommend that you do yourself a big favor this summer and take some time off to recharge your batteries--even if you don't think you need to. Remember, even the Energizer Bunny, has to get his batteries recharged on a regular basis. - Ross Reck
